Katrina, who features in the second half of the song "Aaya re aaya bodyguard', was uncomfortable when she was asked to blow six whistles in the song. She couldn't whistle at all!
But Salman helped her out, tells a source from the sets.
In fact, it was Salman, who blew the whistle for Katrina in the song. The two continue to share a warm relationship despite parting from each other.
"Bodyguard", which features Kareena Kapoor as the leading lady, releases Aug 31.

Don't be surprised if you land on a set to see Salman Khan covered in prickly needles all over. We are told that the beefy actor has taken to this art of healing and uses acupuncture to ward off any pain in his body. Rather than using anti-biotics and traditional methods of treatment, Salman finds better results with acupuncture. Recently a source spotted the actor with needles pierced on his entire face on the sets of an up coming film.
Those close to the actor are aware that he fully trusts his doctor who visits any film set that he's shooting. The source says, "Salman is averse to using pills and tablets. He was recently in huge pain but despite that he shot continuously for Bodyguard and also the new season of Bigg Boss. Ever since the use of acupuncture he has found his pain to subside."
Salman is looking the best he has in years and he's in great shape. He's not only cut down on his intake of cigarettes but also alcohol. He feels that his audience has huge expectations from him which he should meet.

The leading lady of Bodyguard was unhappy that Katrina Kaif was roped in to add oomph to her film. So now Kareena has got herself a ‘hot’ romantic song with Salman Khan!

For some more dope on the song... We hear Katrina Kaif has worn a black ghaghra and sexy choli with a silver piping and has shaken her leg with a suit-booted Salman Khan.
A source from the sets informs us, "Katrina was insistent that she practise well. She has set a standard for herself with 'Sheila Ki Jawani', and wishes to surpass that. Katrina took extra pains to ensure that her dance steps were sexy but graceful and that she looked good."
Co-producer Atul Agnihotri said that shooting the song was a smooth process. "Everyone seemed to be happy, and having a good time. There was so much energy, and the beats of the song only added to it all. We all tried to make Shera feel special. He is bhai's bodyguard after all, and has served him well for so many years. Katrina was superb, and Bhai, well, words fall short."

The song, Teri Meri Prem Kahani, marks Salman's unofficial debut as a music director in Hindi films. The buzz is that the superstar is not too keen to have his name featured in the credits as a composer for Bodyguard. "The sexy number featuring Kareena and Salman was shot over the weekend in Mumbai's Film City. The makers plan to use the song during the end credits of the film," a unit source of the film said.
Incidentally, Kareena's wet orange sari look bears resemblance to her image in Zoobie Doobie, the rain song she did in the blockbuster 3 Idiots. Bodyguard, produced by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, has been in the news ever since it was launched over who composes music for the film. Initially, Bollywood's flavour of the season Pritam was signed up to score the film's music.
By the time Pritam finished composing his first song for Bodyguard, came the news that Salman had patched up with friend-turned-foe Himesh Reshammiyya. As a goodwill gesture, Salman invited Himesh to compose the remaining songs of the film, though he decided to retain Pritam's number too.
Finally, with only the rain song remaining, Salman said that he would compose the number. The buzz is that Salman came up with the basic tune and then sat down with Himesh for over two hours to finalise the song.
Over the recent past, Salman has been increasingly involved in various aspects of filmmaking beyond acting. He scripted his last year's dud Veer. Earlier this year, he is said to have ghost-edited the blockbuster Ready. And last month, he officially turned producer with the kiddie flick Chillar Party. Beyond Bollywood, apart from running his NGO Being Human, Salman is also an active painter.
Bodyguard is Salman's big Eid release this year. Over the past couple of years, the Eid weekend has been lucky for the actor, with Wanted in 2009 and Dabangg in 2010 ending up as blockbusters after opening around the auspicious day.
Recently, Salman's 'good friend' Katrina Kaif did a special item number for the film. The dance, featuring Katrina along with Salman, was picturised on the title song of the film, Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard. Meanwhile, reports coming in suggest Salman and Atul are racing against time to complete the film on time for its release on August 31.
"The post-production has been slightly delayed because Salman has been extremely busy with various activities over the past few weeks. But the film will release on time," a source said.

Now, he has decided to feature Shera in the film's soundtrack video. When contacted, Shera said, "Yes, I am currently shooting for the song. Yeh sab kuch chamatkar se kam nahi hai mere liye.
Salman bhai is such a huge star and for someone like him showing such trust in me is nothing short of a miracle. In front of the whole world, he said that this is my most trusted man.
Isn't that great?" Shera also told Mumbai Mirror that he is apprehensive about the dance. "Salmanbhai just showed me some steps and I am rehearsing for that.
It is scary and I am nervous. I have given a couple of interviews in the past, but I am better off behind the camera." added Shera. When asked about Salman's comment about the doom the actor would face if Shera ever wrote a book on him, Shera said, "Never. This is one thought which has never occurred to me. I cannot break his trust. He said all these things in jest and I would like to keep it that way."

Aaya re aaya bodyguard…. that’s the item song which Katrina would be joyously gyrating to in Bodyguard. Even as Katrina gears up for the challenge of outdoing her Sheila ki jawaani number she has a bigger challenge to meet up to.
Salman Khan, aka the King Of All He Surveys, will also be part of the song. Apparently he reasoned that since the song is about his character, Bodyguard ka hona to haq banta hai, boss. Now Ganesh Acharya has been asked to incorporate Salman into Katrina’s elaborate item number.
Apparently Salman wants the number structured like Sheila ki jawaani where Akshay Kumar joins Katrina. That is easier said than done.
Says a source, “Salman likes to do his own thing in the dance numbers. Everyone knows in Munni badnam he didn’t follow Farah Khan’s instructions. Katrina will be rigorously rehearsing her steps for Aaya re aaya bodyguard.
She wants it to be as perfect as Sheila ki jawaani. Salman’s improvisations are bound to distract her. But the there is not much she can do about it. Because as Salman pointed out the song is about about him, so he has to be part of it. ”
Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri confirms that Salman would be part of Katrina’s item number.

It was unveiled by his bodyguard Shera. At the event, when his co-star Kareena Kapoor was asked who was her favourite among the three Khans, she gave a politically correct answer saying Salman.
To which Sallu quickly retorted, "When you ask a child who he likes better -- mummy or daddy. The child will say mummy in front of the mother and daddy in front of father."
When asked that Shah Rukh Khan had danced on one of his songs recently at an event, so did it signal a patch up? Salman passed the question to Bebo saying "Kareena will answer the question because she is very close to SRK!" Hmmm..
PS: After the event, Sallu's sis Alvira (wife of Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri) was seen shopping at a cosmetics store!

"This is a very big honour that bhai (Salman) has given me by giving me an opportunity to release his film's promo. I have been with bhai for 15 years now. I used to tell bhai that I can take a bullet for him. But the reality is that he protects his close ones so much that even he can take a bullet for them. He is the real life bodyguard, " Shera told reporters here.
The actor, who was also present at the event, said: "I can trust him with everything - with money, girls, family and even my life. He is very trustworthy. Apart from guarding me, his duty has also been to go with every girl who has been in my life. I knew he will take good care of them wherever they go."
"Bodyguard" is romantic action film directed by Siddique and it is a remake of the director's 2010 Malayalam movie of the same name. The film is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and is slated to release Aug 13. Kareena Kapoor plays the female lead in it.
She was all praise for Shera and Salman.
"Shera has known me since I was 10 years old. And today, he is launching the promo of my film. He has known me before I was an actress, so it is a very special moment. It's all thanks to Salman, " said the actress.

Shera was touched by Salman bhai's kind gesture. As he thanked Salman at the event he couldn't stop himself from unveiling Salman Khan, the man and not the actor to the world.
"It was kind of him (Salman) to give me an opportunity to launch the trailer of his film 'Bodyguard'. At first I couldn't believe it. I have been working with Salman bhai for the past 15 years. He is family and I will most happily take every bullet if at all fired at him as his bodyguard.
Although, I'd like to say, Salman Khan is the person who can sacrifice his all for the people he loves. He can give his life for us and that is what makes him special," revealed an emotional Shera.
Now that's really a special bond the two share, we say.

It all started with Salman suddenly approaching Atul Agnihotri (producer of Bodyguard), with his new concept. Though Agnihotri was sceptical at first, he reluctantly agreed to Salman's terms. Shera was caught off guard by the overwhelming offer from the star.
It took quite a while for Shera to get a grasp of the situation. When he got hold of his nerves, he told Salman that it is indeed an honour for him, and he shall fulfill Salman's wish.
Though it comes as a surprise to Shera, this surely isn't the first time that Salman has decided to take care of his bodyguard. Previously, Salman Khan turned down a whopping Rs 7 crore offer to wear a certain security company's uniform in Bodyguard. Instead he opted for his own personal bodyguard's brand.
When contacted, Shera told Mumbai Mirror, "I couldn't believe it at first. It felt surreal. I had to pinch myself to make sure that this indeed was real. Salmanbhai's wish is my command.
Salmanbhai has always taken care of me and this gesture just proves that how great a human being he is. He is family to me. I owe everything to him."
