Katrina Kaif's decision to do two Yash Raj Films (YRF) with the warring Khans - Salman and Shah Rukh - has raised eyebrows, but the actress is unperturbed and argues there are no camps in Bollywood.
Katrina is set to start shooting with Salman Khan for Ek Tha Tiger next week and her film with Shah Rukh, which is veteran direcor Yash Chopra's untitled venture, is expected to go on floors in a few months' time.

"There is a problem, there is a misconception that the media has (that there is a camp system). We all have different equations. Friendly, not so friendly, but everyone respects everyone's individuality. There are really no camps or something like that," Katrina told IANS in an interview.
New York was Katrina's first film with YRF and after that she signed their Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and now the two films with the two Khans.
Glimpses of Katrina's rock star look in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, where she will be seen puffing a bidi and strumming a guitar in tattered jeans and a tee, have created ripples of excitement among her followers. And the actress explains her new avatar as her endevaour to offer something fresh in each film to avoid being boringly predictable.
"Small things make the difference. You are doing two films a year. Even if you are showing something, which is a little different from the previous film, then the audience doesn't get bored," said the 27-year-old, who has been part of the industry for eight years now.

"If I can do 15 percent better or add on something with every film, then people would not bear the impression that I am not putting in my hard work."
The directorial debut of Ali Abbas Zafar, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a romantic comedy where Imran Khan and Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar play leads opposite her.
The recent favourite of the YRF banner, Katrina believes that Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the right film to collaborate with Imran.
"It's a romantic comedy, very exaggerated tongue-n-cheek kind. It's a little bit larger than life, louder like my film Aajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. For Imran and me, it was a very new space. We didn't know each other much and there had to be a fine-tuning, which eventually helped us to get into the characters that we are playing. It was a nice first film for both of us to do together," said the actress, who has so far made a successful on-screen jodi with Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
She revealed that the film has a close resemblance to filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1975 classic comedy Chupke Chupke that boasts of amazing performances by Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Asrani and Om Prakash. "It's on the line of Dharamji's Chupke Chupke," said Katrina.
To bring reality to her character, Katrina learned to play guitar and her knowledge about the instrument helped her portray the character of a rock singer more convincingly in the film.
"I am learning the guitar. For an actor it's really easy to be a rock star. Wear some boots, wear some jeans, wear kajal, dishevel your hair, hold a guitar and strum the strings. I can actually hold the guitar right as I know how to play it," said Katrina.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is set to hit the theatres on September 9.
Actress Katrina Kaif is upset with a report that she cancelled the shoot for Yash Raj Films' "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" because her favourite make-up man Subhash was unavailable as he had booked his dates for Anushka Sharma.
Katrina, 27, said people should not pull her down by writing such false stories and should give her respect considering her contribution to the industry.
"That was something really disheartening. I am not that kind of person who ever stood up and says, 'Look what I have done, look at me' or asked for any kind of respect or recognition or walked around with any kind of ego.
"But when I see people stoop down to that level and write these kind of stories, that's the only time I feel that I am not asking for recognition, but a little bit of respect after these years I have worked in the industry. Please don't pull me down to this level," Katrina told.
The actress entered Bollywood in 2003 with "Boom". Though her debut film was not a hit, she went on to deliver hits like "Namastey London", "Singh Is Kinng", "Race" and "Raajneeti".
Releasing Sep 9, the directorial debut of Ali Abbas Zafar, "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" is a comedy where Katrina is teamed up with Imran Khan and Pakistani singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar.
The current favourite of YRF, Katrina, will be also seen in their "Ek Tha Tiger" opposite Salman Khan and Yash Chopra's next undeclared directorial venture opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She has teamed up with Anushka in the latter.
"Anushka is a lovely girl, starting off her career now," she said.

The passing of the State Government of India's new law to increase the age limit for alcohol consumption to 25 stirred up a whirlwind of opposition from the youth.
And one in particular was the industry's very own Imran Khan, who had announced that he would file a PIL against the new law.
Incidentally, the law was passed a little before the release of Delhi Belly. However, Imran, who is busy with the promotions of his next film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, has yet to act on his words.
It has been more than a month and a half and a honeymoon later, but the actor asserts that he has not forgotten to attend to the issue.
When contacted, Imran told Mumbai Mirror, "There has been a lot of progress on that. I have been doing extensive research on the law. In fact, there are certain things I want to bring to notice. I would advice people to file an RTI about the law to find out some facts. I had filed an RTI and that is when I came across these facts."

Fans disapprove of Katrina Kaif’s rockstar look in ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’
Movies demand a change, and Katrina Kaif is trying to pull all the stops to look different in her every film. Last we saw her as an adventure-seeking, fun-loving girl in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and now her song Dhunki for which she turned a hot rock chick, is hogging your TV screens.
But when we asked our readers whether they liked Katrina as a rockstar in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, we received 940 votes, and most of them voted against her. In the ApunKaChoice photo-poll we gave the readers two options, and 43% of them said that Katrina looks superhot like a rockstar, but the rest 57% felt that she is too soft to be a rock babe.
In the song Dhunki Katrina is shown singing, and performing on a stage in front of thousands of people. The actress is even smoking a bidi in the song which gives her character a very sexy and tough image. But, is her body language of a rock babe? We doubt it, like most of our readers. The actress struggles hard to drop her pretty and cute image. Alas! she fails.
It seems, Katrina Kaif still has a long way to go as far as acting is concerned. Her amazing onscreen charisma can’t save her all the time.
