Justin & Selena's nude sculpture
Justin & Selena's nude sculpture
Artist Daniel Edwards, infamous for his strange depiction of celebrities, recently unveiled a new sculpture of a nude Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez as Adam and Eve. Sculptor Daniel Edwards, infamous for sculpting such sculptures as Britney Spears giving birth, Suri's poop, Angelina Jolie nursing, Paris Hilton dead, and an Angelina and Brad Pitt piece called "Brangelina As One," unveiled a new piece, entitled "Justin And Selena As One."

The sculpture features a nude Bieber statuette, complete with bowl cut, and a nude Selena Gomez statuette conjoined at the rib, and sharing three legs. Their privates covered in symbols of their hometowns, Bieber has a maple leaf, and Gomez has a lone star.

They stand atop a base that reads "Justin and Selena Forever."In a press release, Edwards' spokesperson explains the artist wanted to depict Bieber and Gomez as Adam and Eve. Gomez is leading Bieber to Eden as a Canadian goose leads the way. He added it also depicts "harmony" between Canada and the United States. "Justin and Selena joined together symbolizes the great harmony between neighbouring countries Canada and the United States," said spokesman Cory Allen in the press release. "Countries like North Korea and South Korea could learn from our example. It would be nice to exhibit this portrait in the areas of the world where tensions are high between countries that share borders." Although it could be considered controversial, and creepy by some, mainly because Justin Bieber is still 17, Edwards says the nudity has a purpose. In a separate sculpture, he made Bieber's privates "artistically symbolized."

Daniel wanted to "open a dialogue about the exploitation of teen sex symbols as they grow from child stars to adults."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly called time on their relationship.

The Disney actress - who has been dating the 'Baby' hitmaker since early this year - is said to have split from the 17-year-old singing sensation over concerns about his new-found bad boy pals.

In recent weeks, Justin has been hanging around with former child burglar turned rapper Sean Kingston, ex-convict Lil Wayne, and has collaborated on a new track with Chris Brown, who put his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in hospital after attacking her in 2009.

However, the final straw allegedly came when Justin brought Sean to one of the19-year-old singer's concerts in Florida last week.

A friend of Selena said: "Selena told him to stop hanging with these bad people. She didn't want him to crash her gig.

"They had a huge row and said it was good they were having time apart while she was on tour."

However, Justin is said to have taken the split badly, and was spotted in tears after one of their arguments.

The pal added to The Sun newspaper: "It's hard seeing a little 17-year-old crying and saying he loves her."

Selena Gomez
New Delhi: Selena Gomez has come a long way from being the child star of Disney's 'Wizards of Waverly Place'. The 19-year-old, who is dating teen sensation Justin Bieber, just released an album and a movie but feels that she still has a lot of growing up to do.

The young star, who is part of a band called 'Selena Gomez and The Scene', recently won plaudits for her role of a mistaken socialite in 'Monte Carlo' and her second album 'When the Sun Goes Down' is already climbing the charts.

Admitting that child stars have extra pressure while growing up, Gomez says she takes one day at a time.

"It's important for me to grow and evolve. I feel that I've done my best and that's how I am. What matters the most is that my family, friends and fans are proud of me. Even though I have finished with Disney channel, I cannot disown the fact that I may still have a younger generation looking up to me," Gomez told.
"I haven't accomplished that just yet. I'm still in the phase of transition," she adds.

Paparazzi is taking an interest in Gomez and her 17-year-old boyfriend but the singer-actress says her way of handling such things is to remain normal.

"I try not to hide or live my life as per what people say about me. I try my best to stay as normal as I can. There is pressure but I love my fans and everything I do is for them. It's the paparazzi that make it difficult," says Gomez when quizzed about the focus on her relationship.

Talking about her new album, which debuted at Number 4 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the US, Gomez says it is very empowering. The song 'Who Says' has already become a youth anthem and Gomez is particularly proud of the track.

"'Who Says' is very close to my heart and it's like a big anthem. It was Priscilla Renee who wrote the song. She told me the story behind the inspiration. It was around the time when Barack Obama was elected as the President. A little boy was asked what did Obama becoming President meant to him; he looked in the camera and said, 'that means I can be the president one day.'"

"I just felt like it was an empowering feeling. The message is powerful, the song is upbeat and it makes you really happy," says Gomez.

Talking about her movie, Gomez says she had fun playing both the characters in the movie, which marks a new beginning for her.

"It was fun. I think it was nice playing both characters. It is a little bit grown up than some of my previous work. Still I feel it's a movie that the younger as well as an older generation can watch."

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are in the spotlight so often, it's hard not to hear all about these teen pop sensations' lives. This is especially true of Gomez, at least according to her recent interview with J-14 magazine, where she said she "prides herself on being 100 percent honest with her fans."

Nevertheless, the starlet, who's been busy promoting her new Monte Carlo flick and her new album, still came up with four things that her fans (and maybe even Bieber!) might not know about her. So, what exactly did she spill the beans on?

First, she loves "crazy scary" movies, which should be a boon for Justin Bieber. Guess he doesn't have to sit through many chick flicks on their movie dates together! The second "secret" Selena Gomez named is not surprising, given her preference for thrillers and gore: Halloween is her favorite holiday.

And she does it up right with creative disguises, although her reported costume last year was far from frightening. She dressed up as fellow pop princess Katy Perry, complete with the Technicolor blue wig and ice cream bikini from the "California Gurls" music video. Sweet!
As for Selena Gomez's final two reveals, they are equally random, but no less interesting.

She likes pickled okra, which she then explains is deep-fried. Actually, pickled okra and fried okra are two different things. No matter, she's obviously a fan of the unusual vegetable and she never claimed to be a chef. Finally, she doesn't wear the color orange, because it's a "weird color" on her.

Harper Beckham may only be a week old but she's already got celebrity's lining up to pay her a visit!

Justin Bieber has offered to perform a private gig for the family and their little one and has even said he'll rope girlfriend Selena Gomez into proceedings!

David and Victoria's sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are big fans of the Bieber and he's already sent them all signed guitars. However, he plans to perform a private show in return for something else...
He told Now magazine: “I have agreed to give the boys a private concert at their house - if David gives me some private soccer lessons.

“David's an amazing dad, and he told me how happy it would make the boys, so I had to say yes.”
And the smitten One Time star has already thought of a way to include his girlfriend, adding:

“Maybe, now they have a girl, Selena will have to come too,' he says. ‘She can dedicate a song to Harper.”

Singer Justin Bieber will perform at a private concert for David Beckham's children and in return the ace footballer will coach him.

The 17-year-old star will perform for Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, Cruz, 6, and one-week-old Harper, reports contactmusic.com.

"I've agreed to give the boys a private concert at their house - if David gives me some private soccer lessons," Bieber told Closer magazine.

"David's an amazing dad, and he told me how happy it would make the boys, so I had to say yes. Maybe now they have a girl, Selena will have to come too, and dedicate a song to Harper. David tells me my records are always played in their household, and David and Victoria are both really cool, so I'm happy to oblige," he added.
