Tears for Amy Winehouse: Dionne Bromfield cries as she dedicates Big Chill song to her tragic godmother two weeks on

But it all became too much for singer Dionne Bromfield, 15, as she played a show last night two weeks to the day since Amy Winehouse died, aged 27.

In an emotional tribute, Bromfield, who was signed to Winehouse's label Lioness Records, appeared teary-eyed and witnesses say she was barely able to sing the last few words as she choked up.
The crowd buoyed her up and kept her going by cheering.

Dionne performed for 30 minutes backed by a five-piece band and dancers.
She also covered Cee Lo Green's hit Forget You and the Shirelles' Mama Said.
Winehouse, who had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead at her home in Camden, north London, on 23 July.

Also performing at the Big Chill festival yesterday was Jessie J, who took to the stage in a leopard print body suit, purple wig and cat ears.
She sat on a throne as she recovers from a broken foot.
Other acts playing the three-day bash include The Chemical Brothers, Empire Of The Sun, Calvin Harris, Example and Kanye West.

Director Reg Traviss, who joined the late singer's parents Mitch and Janis and brother Alex outside her house in Camden, north London, yesterday to visit shrines created by fans, admitted that he has lost his "darling" who he described as a "beautiful" person.
He said, "The last three days have been hell. We have suffered a terrible untimely loss and want peace. I can't describe what I am going through and I want to thank so much all of the people who have paid their respects and who are mourning the loss of Amy, such a beautiful, brilliant person and my dear love. I have lost my darling who I loved very much."
The 35-year-old filmmaker added that the Rehab hitmaker, who he had been dating on and off for two years, had been making improvements to her alcohol and drug-fuelled lifestyle and had started exercising regularly before her sudden death.
He is convinced that her death is a tragic "accident" as she was planning to go to a wedding on Sunday (24.07.11).
He added in an interview with The Sun newspaper, "She has been so full of life and so upbeat recently, exercising everyday and doing yoga. This terrible thing that happened is like an accident."
Discussing the wedding he added, "Amy kept trying to decide what to wear. She had laid out dresses to make up her mind, she was really looking forward to it."
Amy's funeral is set to take place today (26.07.11) with only close friends and family invited.

The tragic singer died at her home in North London yesterday (23.07.11) and although police have said it would be "inappropriate" to speculate before the post-mortem is carried out, friends believe a "dodgy" ecstasy tablet killed her.
A pal told the Sunday Mirror: "She has spent the last seven days on a massive bender and people were saying she's going to drink herself to death. It was an ecstasy overdose. She could do cocaine until the cows come home. But this was obviously a dodgy pill."
MTV producer Danny Panthaki claimed his friend's boyfriend was one of the first policemen at the scene and backed up the overdose story saying: "My friend's boyfriend is a policeman and he's the one who found Amy Winehouse dead. Overdosed on ecstasy."
Although police and ambulances reported to the scene within five minutes of the emergency call being made, the 27-year-old singer was dead when they arrived.
Superintendent Raj Kohli, of London's Metropolitan Police said: "No post mortem has taken place and it would be inappropriate to speculate on a cause of death.
"On arrival, officers found the body of a 27-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed, and we can confirm it was Amy Winehouse. The death of any person is a sad time for friends and family, especially in the case of a person such as Amy Winehouse, who was known both nationally and internationally".
Although her parents Janis and Mitch Winehouse knew their daughter was struggling with addiction, the news has taken them both by surprise.
Janis - who admitted thinking it was "only a matter of time" before her daughter died explained about seeing the Rehab singer the day before her death: "She seemed out if it but her passing so suddenly still hasn't hit me. Amy always said 'I love you mum' when we would say goodbye. They are the words I will always treasure. I'm glad I saw her when I did."
Amy's devastated father Mitch - who was on a plane to New York to prepare for a performance in the city tomorrow (25.07.11) when news of his beloved daughter's demise was revealed - spoke of his heartbreak from the city before getting the first plane back to London.
He said: "This isn't real, I'm completely devastated. I'm getting the next plane back. I'm coming home. I have to be with Amy. I can't crack up for her sake. My family need me. I'm devastated, it's such a shock."

Kelly Osbourne has paid tribute to "best friend" Amy Winehouse, following her tragic death earlier today (23.07.11).
The 27-year-old British singer was found dead at her London home at around 4pm local time and Kelly - who enjoyed a close friendship with Amy - is struggling to come to terms with the news.
She tweeted: "I can't even breathe right my now I'm crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. I love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you. "i miss my friend! im going to be off twitter for a while thank you for all your support! #Pray4Amy (sic)!
Fellow singer Nicki Minaj also took to the micro-blogging website to express her shock, writing: "Please tell me Amy Winehouse didn't die. Is this some sick joke?"
Rihanna said she was "heartbroken" by Amy's death but hopes her music legacy will live on.
She tweeted: "I am genuinely heartbroken about this #DearAmy.
"#DearAmy U made a MAJAH impression on this industry and throughout the world, in such a short space of time...too short! #ICONSneverDIE (sic)"
Amy's spokesman Chris Goodman released a statement, saying: "Everyone who is involved with Amy is shocked and devastated. Our thoughts are with her family and friends. The family will issue a statement when ready."

Police said the cause of her death is being treated as "unexplained," rejecting speculation that she died from a drug overdose as "inappropriate." The circumstances surrounding her death are not yet clear, but police said a post-mortem is expected Monday or Tuesday.
Her spokesman, Chris Goodman, confirmed Sunday that a security guard had found her body and called ambulance services.
