Also taking the lead role will be 'The Social Network' star Armie Hammer, 24, with Johnny Depp, 48, playing his faithful sidekick Tonto, the Daily Star reported.
It will be the fourth time Bonham Carter, 45, and Depp have worked together. The pair previously starred in 'Sweeney Todd', 'Charlie And The Chocolate Factory', and 'The Corpse Bride'.
In the film, Hammer will play a Texas Ranger who becomes the masked man after being left for dead.
